This is the home of Mobile Vet, the original veterinary housecall service for the animals and pets of the Greater Los Angeles Area. Our house call veterinarian provides complete medical care for your pets in the privacy and comfort of your own home. We carry all the supplies, medical and surgical equipment we may ever need with us at all times. We provide quality medical care for all species of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits, rodents, reptiles, pigs, farm animals, exotics and wildlife.
Mobile Vet was established in 1985 by Chris Cauble, DVM, who is still our doctor today. We have done housecalls for Ringling Bros. / Barnum and Baily Circus, Circus Vargas, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Magic Mountain, many celebrities, Tournement of Roses Parade, and many people just like yourself. Our office is based in Glendale, and stocks a full pharmacy and all the supplies and equipment we need. We have a business manager, several receptionists, technicians, and our primary doctor, Chris Cauble, DVM. We differ from the come and go housecall services that pop up over the years, in that we do not hire vets on a per job basis, and we do not work out of the trunk of a car. You can depend on the quality and care of our services.

We treat your pets with the same love and care you give. Mobile Vet offers comprehensive examinations and consultations, preventive medical treatment, routine checkups, modern equipment, and laboratory analysis. A part of your pets health care should include dental care. We will check your pets teeth during its annual exam and perform teeth cleaning when necessary. For flea control we carry Revolution and other quality products. We carry Hills high quality prescription diets. With all of these services and convenient hours, keeping your pet healthy and happy just became easier. We encourage you to call our office if you need any services or advice for your pets.
Housecall fees are based on the drive time to your house, the time while there, and supplies used. We gladly give full quotes to anyone who calls. We do not charge extra for additional pets, physical exams, nail trims, fractious or difficult pets and many other services. In many cases, housecalls are cheaper and more satisfying that office visits at clinics. You can also avoid the stress and diseases associated with hosptals, by having the doctor come to you.

Doctor Cauble graduated from U.C. Davis in 1985, and established Mobile Vet within the first month. His special interest and experience with exotic animals and wildlife helps him handle the difficult cases of many domestic animals. He cares for all species of animals, and really enjoys working with people as well as pets. He is nationally accredited, and also has degrees in biology, zoology and chemistry. You can meet him at all of your housecalls. He is our primary doctor.
